Note1 : The cells were transfected with 50nM of the target siRNA, 96h prior to live cell imaging (n=222 cells, from 2 independent experiments).

Note2 : 1% of cells showed chromosome congression defects

Note3 : 0% of the cells died in mitosis without completing chromosome alignment; 0,5% of the cells died in the subsequent interphase

Note4 : The duration of mitosis was 39±12 min (mean±sd, determined by measuring the time between nuclear envelope breakdown (NEBD) to anaphase onset (AO)).
